Plain language, local-first defaults

Effective date: April 14, 2026. Million Keywords is designed as a local utility for scanning folders of text files against user-provided keyword lists. The app does not require an account to run.

Summary

Million Keywords processes the files and keyword lists you choose on your device. The app does not create a user account for you, does not upload your document corpus to our servers, and does not use third-party analytics inside the app.

Information the app handles

  • Document folders and text files you choose for scanning.
  • Keyword files you import or edit inside the app.
  • CSV exports that you choose to generate and save.
  • Subscription and restore status provided by Apple through StoreKit when you use Pro features.

How information is used

  • To scan your selected files for keyword matches.
  • To show result summaries, matched files, keyword counts, and exportable CSV reports.
  • To determine whether Pro access is active when Apple reports subscription entitlement status.

What the app does not do

  • It does not require account registration.
  • It does not collect advertising identifiers.
  • It does not include third-party analytics SDKs.
  • It does not sell or share your scanned files with advertisers.

Third-party services

If you choose to buy or restore a subscription, Apple handles the purchase transaction through the App Store. We do not receive your full payment card information. Apple may process data according to its own policies when you use StoreKit and the App Store.

Data retention

Your source files remain wherever you keep them. CSV exports are saved only to the location you choose. Million Keywords does not maintain a remote copy of the files or keyword lists you scan.
