ScannerAction Privacy Policy

Overview

ScannerAction is an iPhone and iPad app for scanning QR codes and barcodes, keeping local history, adding business fields, exporting records, and optionally sending follow-up requests when configured by the user.

Information the app can access

The app may access the camera to scan codes and the photo library when you choose to recognize a code from an image. If you use export features, the app may write exported files to locations you choose.

How data is stored

Scan results, business fields, scan snapshots, request templates, request responses, and related history are stored locally on your device by default. ScannerAction does not require account registration and does not provide built-in cloud sync.

Network activity

Core scanning and history features do not require network requests. If you configure request templates or submission actions, the app may send requests to the endpoints you define.

Third-party sharing

ScannerAction does not sell your personal information. Data is not shared with third parties except when you intentionally export content or configure the app to send requests to external services.

Data retention and control

Because data is stored locally on your device by default, you control retention through normal app usage, export choices, record deletion, and device settings.

Children's privacy

ScannerAction is not directed to children under 13 and is intended as a general utility application.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when product behavior or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page.
